Valley Forge National Historical Park

Overview: General George Washington led the Continental Army, and it was here at Valley Forge that they held their winter encampment in 1777-78. The park has been preserved today for its historical significance and symbolism, and in honor of all those that sacrificed for the Revolutionary War and the foundation of our country. It serves as inspiration for Americans to continue to come together through hardship.
