Gloria Dei Church National Historic Site

Pennsylvania was once home to many Swedish settlers, and called New Sweden. The Gloria Dei Episcopal Church is the last remnant of this forgotten history. The beautiful church is set in quiet surroundings, despite its urban location, and is full of rich history. It is still an active church, with services held on Sunday, as well as during special events and ceremonies, which may limit visitor access. Visitors can always enjoy the exterior and the cemetery, and a look inside its historic walls will provide a beautiful connection to the past.

Fees, permits, and reservations may apply.
