Overview: The Deshler-Morris House, so named after the first and last owners of the property, is also commonly known as the Germantown White House. Located in Pennsylvania, it is the oldest surviving Presidential residence, having housed George Washington twice during his presidency. The elegant home and expansive gardens were described by George Washington as “light and airy,” a place he greatly enjoyed visiting with his family.
