Overview: Embedded in Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site is the evidence of the hard work and brainpower of the iron industry. Structures from the 1600s still stand at the site to show visitors the magic of turning a natural mineral into something that is universally useful. The historic site lies on nine acres of natural and preserved habitat, making it a popular place to watch wildlife as well!
