Boston African American National Historic Site

Situated far north from the Mason-Dixon Line, the African American community in Boston became forerunners in the Abolition Movement. When visitors come to the Boston African American National Historic Site, they get a taste of the amazing men and women who stepped bravely where none had stepped before. The site is rich with historical accounts of the early days for equal rights within the United States of America, including manuscripts from the Abolition Movement and more!
