Overview: There’s no place on earth like the world famous Everglades National Park, the largest subtropical wilderness area in the country.  This expansive, one-of-a-kind landscape is home to many rare and endangered species, including the manatee, American crocodile, and Florida panther, and is a World Heritage Site, International Biosphere Reserve, a Wetland of International Importance, and a specially protected area under the Cartagena Treaty.
