Biscayne National Park

Size: 173,000 Acres

Overview: Pirates, pineapples, and presidents!  The crystal waters and vivacious coral reefs of Biscayne National Park have a lush history, but that doesn’t mean it’s stuck in the past!  Visitors today can enjoy boating, snorkeling, camping, wildlife watching, kayaking along the shores, or simply lounging and gazing at the bay.  The park is 95% water, and includes a small coastal park and some keys with a hiking trail and camping and picnic areas. Explore in your boat, arrange a boat trip at the park, or just enjoy a picnic! Within sight of downtown Miami, Biscayne is the perfect antidote for the big city blues!
